Alles wird gut

This is my Bachelor project. I investigated the rituals and traditions of the German funeral culture. In these times due to globalisation, cultural influence, distancing from christian faith and digitization there is also a change of how people bury their loved ones and how they want to remember them. Individual graves are as well a movement as the anonymous funeral. The place where the corpus or ashes of the deceased are buried has often lost its former status as a place of mourning. Instead, grief seeks new paths, some of which it finds in the vastness of the Internet.
